Poster Competition 2025

The London Network of Nurses and Midwives Homelessness Group (LNNM) invites you to take part in our annual poster competition – a chance to share your ideas, showcase your work and inspire others in a fun and visual way!

This year’s theme is Inclusion Health – highlighting what’s happening across services and how we can better support people experiencing homelessness.

How to get involved

Where possible, entrants should attend the next LNNM Conference on 14th November and bring a printed version on the day. Those unable to attend the conference but would like to take part, should contact LNNM to make alternative arrangements. 

• Poster size: Posters on display should ideally be A1 or A0.
• Content: Keep text minimal using images, graphs and tables where possible.
• Style: The ‘active voice’ is encouraged.
• Details: Include contact information of the lead author.
• Format: Entrants are advised to laminate their poster to protect it. Alternatively, fabric posters are easy to transport and look after and can be printed for a relatively low price from a variety of internet companies – search the internet for ‘academic poster fabric printing’.

Judging

A panel will review and judge all posters on the day of the conference. The winner will be announced at the end of the day and will be invited to collect their prize and certificate.

Posters will be judged on:

• Target Audience: Relevance for clinicians, outreach workers, service agency representatives, and community stakeholders.
• Innovation: How novel or useful the idea of approach is.
• Impact: Potential benefits for patients, services, training or sustainability.
• Applicability:  How transferable the findings are to other settings.
• Knowledge Advancement:  Contribution to the evidence base on homelessness and healthcare.

Deadline to confirm participation: Friday 24th October.
