Street outreach

Health Related Street Outreach

The first meeting of our Street Outreach network, in association with the Queen’s Nursing Institute, was held on Tuesday 23rd March 2021.

The group is now developing street outreach elearning, building connections and supporting clinicians who are new to street outreach roles.

If you would like to be invited to future meetings please do get in contact.

Meetings are every other month, and are currently all online.

This network arose from work around our Guidelines for health related street outreach to people experiencing homelessness

This guidance was led by Rosa Ungpakorn, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and winner of the Advanced Nursing Practice category in the 2020 RCNi awards.

The document brings together people with lived experience and clinicians, and is the first guidance specific to health related street outreach in the UK.

You can watch videos of the talks from the guidance launch event here.
