I am currently working as a Nurse Practitioner with the Health Inclusion Team (Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust).

I have 15 years’ experience in primary care nursing, with a breadth of experience including community nursing, practice nursing and street outreach with St Mungo’s, as well as disaster emergency relief work in Malawi and teaching undergraduate student nurses in Somaliland.

I am passionate about tackling social exclusion and working with people with multiple complex needs such as refugees, those experiencing homelessness, and people seeking asylum. I have a strong belief that health and social care should be available free at the point of delivery to every individual that needs it, and that it is the role of the health service to ensure that it is accessible to all.

I am excited to be working with the LNNM at a point where there is a real push to broaden its reach and increase knowledge of Inclusion Health in every part of the health service.
